He founded Doheny Asset Management in 1993 and has been managing investments for individual and institutional clients since 1975. Prior to founding the firm, he was the managing director of U.S. Trust of California. He also co-founded Summit Management Company, which was later acquired by U.S. Trust. Prior to co-founding Summit Management Company, he worked at Scudder Stevens Clark. Will received a BA in History from Stanford University, and a JD from Loyola Law School. Will also serves on the Board of the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation and the Doheny Eye Institute. He is a current member and past 10-year chairman of the Investment Committee for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Stephen CordDirector of Client Services Stephen is a portfolio manager and analyst responsible for covering the biotechnology and health care sectors. He joined Doheny Asset Management in 1993 and was instrumental in starting the firm. Prior to joining the company, Stephen worked for two national advertising agencies, N. W. Ayer and Della Femina, in account management. He also worked at Morgan Stanley and as an operations manager for Security Pacific National Bank. Stephen previously oversaw Doheny Asset Management’s financial operations and select information technology projects.
Sean O'Neill, CFADirector of Equity Research, Portfolio Manager Sean is the Director of Equity Research and a portfolio manager. He is also an analyst responsible for covering energy, technology, consumer discretionary, utilities and financials. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with a large and varied number of high net worth and institutional clients for three independent investment advisory firms since beginning his professional investment career almost eighteen years ago. Sean received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996 and is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute. Sean graduated from the University of California at San Diego where he majored in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences and minored in Mathematics and Literature. |
